But it was time for a brand refresh, with the goal of building a sustainable platform that would retain and grow its loyal base and reinforce the value of Sapphire through its unmatched benefits.

Its target audience—the affluent millennial—lives by a different set of rules. With a bold visual identity that captures a life lived through Sapphire, and the integration of celebrity “Sapphire Creators” to help shape the brand and experiences for cardmembers, a surround sound campaign not only picked up wide press attention but made sure customer retention goals were maintained year over year and loyalty remained high.
